The date for the in-person launch of Ian Parks’ The Sons of Darkness and the Sons of Light has been announced as Saturday 11th October 2025 at the Unitarian and Free Christian Church, 60 Hall Gate, Doncaster DN1 3PB, meet 2pm for 2.30pm start.
Ian will be joined by special guests Susan Darlington, Steve Ely, and Laura Strickland with music by Liam Wilkinson.
The online reading that goes alongside the launch will take place on Tuesday 21st October 2025 at 19.00 BST. The event is free to attend and will be on Zoom – please register on the following link:

Guest readers will be Bob Beagrie, Gaia Holmes, Vanessa Lampert and Charlotte Wetton. It promises to be an evening of fabulous poetry.
The event is free, but there is an option (UK attendees only) to purchase a ticket that includes a discounted copy of the book, posted to you upon publication in October, including postage and packing.
