Crooked Spire Press and The Fig Tree online webzine are delighted to announce a new Special Issue to commemorate 100 years since the General Strike of 1926.
The initial window for submissions is May 3rd 2026 to May 12th 2026. These are the dates of the strike in 1926.
Successful unpublished poems will appear in The Fig Tree online and, given enough interest, those poems and others will be printed in a commemorative anthology.
